Latest News – December

I’ve been completely rubbish at keeping up to date with my blog and my business lately (sorry!). This is because I actually have recently made the decision to leave my full time job, that was making me a stressed out and miserable person, to try freelance design and running my own gifts business.

A lot of people have their doubts about how I’ll make it work but I truly believe I can! Only time will tell! Before I quit my job, I was a designer at an advertising company working with large clients like TalkTalk, The National Trust and RSPB. I also managed the company’s trade marketing. Everything that I’ve learnt over the past two years at my job that I started as an apprentice has helped me see how I can run my own business and has given me the experience and confidence to start up on my own.

If you like fashion, beauty, food, interiors and accessories and don’t mind the constant flow of people then the simple answer is yes, you should definitely go to The Ideal Home Show at Christmas next year.

The Ideal Home Show at Christmas ran from the 19th to the 23rd November this year at Earls Court London, bringing together over 650 exhibitors. People would expect the show simply to be about interiors however there was definitely something for everyone whether it was gadgets, turkey tasting, Christmas ice rink or free fashion and beauty trials.
