Christmas Cricut Explore

by

I hope everyone had a brilliant Christmas! I spent my Christmas at my Nan and Grandad’s house, as I do every year, with my whole family. My Nan is amazing and cooks a three course dinner that would rival most restaurants (although I’m obviously biased!) and we spend the day playing games, drinking, eating and chatting. I’m very lucky to have such a close family, including my boyfriend Zak, and although we see each other every week at my Nan’s house, it always seems different and much more exciting at Christmas.

This year, my amazing Mum got me a Cricut Explore die cutting machine. I had been saving up for the machine ever since I found out about it and, after reading a review from Crazy Little Projects, I was even more determined to get one. After many times explaining what a die cutting machine does, why I would like it and what projects I could do, Mum must have decided it would be the perfect Christmas present!

Make your own envelopes with the envelope template from Papermash

by

Papermash is an online shop that I discovered recently, selling great paper products and party goods. I bought some glittery washi tape and this wooden envelope template, and I can honestly say, I’m in love! This template allows you to quickly and easily make beautiful custom envelopes that are around 16.2 cm x 11.3 cm, but I’m sure you can scale up or down.

All you need to do is trace around the envelope template, cut the shape out, fold along the lines and glue the sides. Simples! Once I had done a couple of practice envelopes, I probably made one envelope in no more than 5 minutes.

9 Christmas Wrapping Must-Haves

by

Everyone loves Christmas. How can you not? Family, gifts, decorations, Christmas songs, Christmas food…! Personally, I love the giving part of Christmas when you know you’ve got someone something amazing and you just can’t wait for them to open it. I also love the wrapping, although for some people this is the worst part! I have a few things to make Christmas gift wrapping just a little bit easier and hopefully more fun.
